Amidst the load of work that i have to finish today, let me experience this thing called "blogging"...Allow me to introduce myself to you. I'm Joan and I'm an artist's daughter. I don't know if that makes me an artist as well but I'd like to think so, but during the day when I'm all up and awake, I'm happy being a Production Manager. I am married to THE photographer/graphic artist of Treasure Chest Graphic Design & Photography Studio (http://www.treasurechestalbum.com/), the one, the only.... Ferdinand Castillejos! (applause, everyone!)We have a son, Joaquin IƱigo, who's very smart at 3 and very funny like his daddy! But let me tell you the story of how Paper Anatomy came to be.One busy afternoon at the office / workroom of Perfect Invitation Superstore (http://www.perfectinvitationsuperstore.com/index.php) while chatting endlessly with my sis-in law Ada ( who's the Design Consultant) about last night's episode of our favorite TV series, I got an email from a client asking for a simple yet eye-catching invitation design for her wedding. She told me that she liked the designs she found on the Perfect Invitation website but she also finds it too extravagant-looking and a little too flamboyant for her taste. She also mentioned that she had to work within a certain budget.Actually, that was just one of the countless emails from soon-to-be-brides asking for a simpler, more inexpensive but still beautiful invitation designs. Ate Nona (C&C head) was in "da houze" and she actually wanted us to make a new line of invitation designs long before these emails came along so we decided to put up Paper Anatomy. And so we all pray that ideas would come like cute Russian dolls..that when you pop one open, there's another one inside! :)So what is Paper Anatomy?I'll tell you.....on my next blog...:) betcha can't wait!
